Agreement Overview
By booking classes, parties, or family sessions with Rebel Art Class, parents/guardians agree to these terms and conditions, which may be updated at any time. Continued participation in the sessions constitutes acceptance of any changes.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Sessions are booked in half-term blocks, unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Parents/guardians have the right to first refusal for the next half-term’s block if confirmed at least four weeks in advance.
1.3 Full payment for the half-term block or family session must be made at the point of booking via the Rebel Art Class website. Attendance is not confirmed until payment is made.
1.4 Fees are non-refundable except in significant mitigating circumstances, requests for which must be emailed to rebelartclass@gmail.com. The decision to offer refunds is entirely at the discretion of Rebel Art Class Limited.
1.5 Changes to the programme, including changes of tutors, topics, materials used, dates or venues, are possible and will not result in a refund.
1.6 Bookings are non-transferable.
1.7 By booking a session or party, the booker agrees to these terms and conditions on behalf of all participants, including any accompanying adults or children. The booker is responsible for ensuring all attendees are aware of and accept these terms.
2. Attendance and Punctuality
2.1 Participants must arrive 5 minutes before the session starts.
2.2 Late arrivals (over 5 minutes) may be refused entry without prior email notice.
2.3 Absences should be reported via email to rebelartclass@gmail.com.
3. Health and Safety
3.1 Strict health and safety protocols are in place to minimise risks, and suitable equipment is provided. However, all participants must wear shoes, boots, or trainers with a heavy tread to minimise the risk of slips or falls.
3.2 Participation involves inherent risks. Rebel Art Class Limited is not liable for injuries resulting from disclosed or undisclosed medical conditions, poor behaviour, or lack of supervision where required.
3.3 Parents/guardians participating in family sessions are responsible for supervising their children at all times during the session.
3.4 Medical emergencies will be handled by contacting emergency services and notifying parents/guardians, with costs borne by parents.
4. Behavioural Expectations
4.1 All participants, including parents, guardians, and children, must follow tutor instructions and behave respectfully, following the Behaviour Policy.
4.2 Disruptive behaviour may lead to a written warning and consultation. Continued issues may result in removal from the session, with no refund provided.
4.3 Rebel Art Class Limited reserves the right to exclude any participant if their behaviour negatively impacts others or compromises the safety of the sessions.
5. Release Policy
5.1 For drop-off classes, children will only be released to the booker or emergency contacts listed at booking. Parents/guardians must notify us of any alternative arrangements in advance via email.
6. Clothing and Personal Items
6.1 Sessions are messy. Participants should wear old clothing; Rebel Art Class Limited is not responsible for damaged clothing or belongings.
6.2 Parents must disclose allergies, sensitivities, or other relevant information for all participants at booking.
7. Food and Catering (Applies to Parties and Other Events with Catering)
7.1 Rebel Art Class Limited is not responsible for any food or drink provided at parties or events. Any catering, whether provided by the venue, an on-site caterer, or an external catering team, is the sole responsibility of the provider.
7.2 If requested, Rebel Art Class Limited may connect party bookers with relevant catering contacts, but all communication and arrangements must be handled directly between the booker and the catering provider.
7.3 The booker is solely responsible for collecting dietary information, including allergies, from all attendees and for communicating this directly to the catering provider. Rebel Art Class Limited is not responsible for relaying messages to caterers or ensuring they have received and acted upon such information.
7.4 The booker acknowledges that studio spaces used for parties are art studios and may contain paint, chemicals, and other materials that are unsuitable for ingestion. It is the booker’s responsibility to ensure the food is served in a clean and safe manner and that children wash their hands before eating.
7.5 Rebel Art Class Limited is not responsible for ensuring children wash their hands before eating, nor for any reactions or health issues resulting from environmental exposure, ingestion of substances, or contamination in the space.
7.6 A £15 surcharge applies to all bookings where a caterer is used, including catering provided by the venue. This charge is solely for logistical support, such as setting up/moving tables and liaising with caterers on timings. It does not imply any responsibility for the food itself or for the cleanliness, safety, or suitability of the space where food is served.
7.7 Any snacks or food brought by participants, including but not limited to crisps, nuts, and homemade items, are consumed at the booker’s own risk. Rebel Art Class Limited accepts no liability for allergic reactions, contamination, or other food-related incidents.
8. Data Collection and Privacy
8.1 We collect essential data (e.g., participant’s name, DOB, medical conditions) for operational purposes.
8.2 Data is securely stored and shared only with relevant tutors for safeguarding and medical emergencies and deleted upon programme exit.
8.3 Compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws is assured.
